Timetable for sightseeing cruises and transport across the Munický Pond. The boats can be used for transport between Hluboká nad Vltavou (central car park) and the Hluboká ZOO + Ohrada Hunting Lodge.

In July and August, the boat departs every day according to the timetable from 10:00 AM to 6:15 PM; only on Sundays is the operation shorter, ending at 4:15 PM.

The cruise can be used as a one-way trip, or a return trip at a later time, for example after visiting the ZOO. Alternatively, you can choose a purely sightseeing cruise.

Timetable for sightseeing cruises from Týn nad Vltavou 2025

Cruises Monday to Sunday at regular times; these are sightseeing cruises. The boat departs from Týn and returns to Týn again.

We offer three circuits: cruise to the confluence of the Vltava and Lužnice rivers and back, approx. 30 min+, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday: 12:30 PM, 4:00 PM, 4:40 PM; Thursday: 12:30 PM, 4:00 PM; Sunday: 12:30 PM, 3:00 PM.

Cruise to the confluence of the Vltava and Lužnice rivers and further to the Kořensko dam and back, 55 min, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday: 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 5:15 PM; Thursday: 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM; Sunday: 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM.

Experience cruise through the lock and further below the Hněvkovice dam and back to Týn, then to the confluence of the Vltava and Lužnice and back. 120 min+, every day at 10:00 AM.

Extraordinary cruise from Týn nad Vltavou to Hluboká nad Vltavou

On August 31st at 10 AM, we set sail with our boat Pálava for Hluboká nad Vltavou. This is an extraordinary one-way cruise full of experiences, lasting approximately 4 hours. We depart from Týn nad Vltavou at 10 AM. Reservation is recommended. The cruise is one-way only. This cruise is packed with experiences: 3 x passing through locks (Hněvkovice weir, Hněvkovice dam, Hluboká nad Vltavou weir), the beauty of the Hněvkovice Reservoir, a break in the rafting village of Purkarec with a tour of the Rafting Museum (listed as UNESCO cultural heritage), a cruise through the Vltava Gorge (ferratas), views of Hluboká Castle, and the end of the cruise (arrival around 3:00 PM) in the sports port below Hluboká Castle. In the port, we recommend visiting the unique Captain C refreshments with fantastic cuisine. Return to Týn nad Vltavou is possible by one of the bus connections from the nearby bus stop – Hluboká pod Kostelem.

In September 2025, sightseeing cruises on the Hněvkovice Reservoir every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM according to the timetable. Two different circuits will be offered.
